For the past 19 years the Salmon Hockey Association has been striving to build a hockey rink primarily for the youth of the community. We are a small town of 3,000 people in a remote part of Idaho's mountains, and are proud to say we have over 100 kids skating. Everything we have accomplished has been done by volunteers,donations and a few grants. Three years ago we were able to accomplish our goal of having refrigerated ice. We now are working towards completing our rink with the addition of putting a roof over the facility. This is a daunting task for our association.
